Founded in 1976, the South Carolina Century Farm Program is dedicated to honoring and preserving the legacy of family owned farms in our state.  87.6% of all farms in South Carolina are family owned and these farms and people are a vital part of our state’s past, present, and future.

 

Any farm that has been continually owned by the same family for at least 100 years is invited to apply - completely free!

 

As of 2025 we have more than 500 farms in our registry.
